myQ® is a software platform offering smart functionality to access products like opening gates and garage doors for the home, but it also works to control all comings and goings for a variety of business types. The breadth of audiences and wide range of hardware brands this technology can work with meant we needed to create a tone that would work seamlessly with a range of brands. And, while myQ had been around a few years, it lacked consumer familiarity which led us to develop a brand that tapped into visual language commonly associated with smart products for quicker recognition.

We refreshed the logo, created a tone for the brand, and most importantly defined best practices for using myQ branding alongside any hardware brands it connects.
